Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly entered the race for striker Matheus Cunha from German top-flight club RB Leipzig.
According to Sky Sports, Wolves and Brighton have joined a number of top European clubs in chasing the Brazilian star.
It is understood that the South American forward is available for around £17million during the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old has had a frustrating season so far with zero goals in his 13 appearances across all competitions, including in the Champions League group stages.
But he did manage nine goals last season in all competitions to help build his reputation and is going through an inconsistent patch at his young age.

TBR’s View:
Wolves have European and domestic football to focus on in the second half of the season, which is why adding another forward to the squad at Molineux could be a decent idea.
Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota and Pedro Neto have been the main options, but Patrick Cutrone has struggled for minutes.
Cunha is an intriguing target for Wolves that prefers to play in a central striker position, but can also be deployed if needed.
He’s blessed with rapid pace and scored some eye-catching goal last season, but the £17million fee looks a considerable risk at this stage.
