Report: Wolves attempting double deal for Kamara and Moore
Wolves are attempting to pull off a double deal for Boubacar Kamara and Kieffer Moore, claims David Ornstein of The Athletic.
What’s the story?
News over a move for Cardiff City ace Moore was broken by The Telegraph’s John Percy (19:16), who claims the Midlanders are optimistic.
Ornstein goes on to say, the Molineux Stadium outfit are hoping to find middle ground. However, the transfer guru says there’s no certainty a deal will be done.
Meanwhile, the club are after Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara, who has just a year left on his contract.
The French team are after a fee of €12m (£10.3m) for the central midfielder, says Sky Sports (19:38, 31/08).
Wolves need additions upfront and in midfield amid Moore and Kamara moves
This summer has seen Bruno Lage add a fair few bodies to the first-team squad.
Five players have walked through the doors at Molineux. However, none of them have addressed some of the club’s most pressing issues.
Following the injury to Raul Jimenez, Wolves were left trusting Fabio Silva in the number nine role.
Meanwhile, there has been no addition at central midfield, the club are left quite short.
Following the potential departure of Morgan Gibbs-White, there could be just three senior options at the heart of the side.
It makes a move for Kamara incredible desirable and probably a priority.
But, with just hours left, will the club close the deals?
