Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City have both reportedly made moves for Vitoria Guimaraes defender Edmond Tapsoba.
According to a report from O Jogo, the Premier League outfits are set to go toe-to-toe over the central defender, who has caught the eye over the Portuguese top-flight.

Impressively, Tapsoba has contributed four goals from central defence so far this term but he’s also been rock solid from a defensive standpoint.
Tapsoba – a Burkina Faso international – also apparently has interest from Germany in the form of Bayer Leverkusen.
O Jogo say there are ‘concrete proposals’ from all three clubs that have supposedly reached around €20 million/£17 million, and that Vitoria are going to struggle to resist the interest in their young star.
TBR’s view – An opportunity for Wolves
Wolves could do with a central defender this month and perhaps they should ramp up the intensity of their pursuit.
The club love a signing from Portugal and Tapsoba seems like a player with real promise.

Standing at an imposing 6ft 3in tall, he appears to be a defender in the Willy Boly mould.
Like the Ivory Coast international he is a good ball-player, highlighted by an impressive completion rate of 88% in the league so far (WhoScored), and he also wins, on average, just under two aerial duels per 90.
With Jesus Vallejo having cut short his loan, there’s room for the youngster and Nuno Espirito Santo could be on to a top prospect.
