The Daily Star has claimed that both Wolves and Everton are interested in signing Sevilla attacker Lucas Ocampos as the Argentina international continues to shine for the Europa League finalists.
Ocampos, 26, has enjoyed a stellar season for Sevilla under the guidance of Julian Lopetegui – scoring an enormous 17 goals in 43 league and cup appearances as well as creating five more. He is rated at £45million.
Both Wolves and Everton are interested, as are a number of European clubs, even though Ocampos knocked Wolves out of the Europa League quarter-finals with a late header earlier this month.
Ocampos only joined Sevilla last summer but could now move again, with Wolves identifying him as a replacement for Adama Traore – who continues to be linked with a £70million move to Liverpool or Manchester City.

TBR’s view – Ocampos would be a solid Traore replacement
No, he does not boast the strength or speed of Traore – but what Ocampos does improve upon is an end product far above Traore’s final ball or finish. He is also very strong in the air, and can play out wide or up front.
He would be a good replacement for Wolves but the Midlands club will find Everton in the way. The lure of working under Carlo Ancelotti will be tempting for Ocampos. But both face a fight, given neither are in Europe next term.
