Willian is ready to tear up the rest of his contract with Arsenal to pave the way for a move to Corinthians, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

The 33-year-old looks set to bring the curtain down on a torrid spell at the Emirates. The Brazilian has never managed to silence his doubters following his arrival in North London.

Corinthians have been linked with the attacking midfielder for a little while. But with Willian earning more than £220,000-a-week, fans may have feared how exactly Arsenal were going to be able to offload the player.

His deal with the Gunners has two years left to run. And according to the Daily Mail, he is set to earn £20 million should he see out his deal.

But it seems that Willian is about to do Arsenal a huge favour.
