Glasgow Rangers are reportedly on the verge of bringing Giovanni van Bronckhorst to Ibrox.
Multiple outlets have reported that the Rangers cult hero is all-but set to succeed Steven Gerrard at the helm of the Ibrox giants.
According to 90Min, Van Bronckhorst is understood to be in Glasgow finalising the details of his contract.

The 46-year-old is reportedly also making plans for who he will appoint to his backroom staff.
The outlet also claimed that, at this stage, Van Bronckhorst is unlikely to be joined by his preferred number two, Jean-Paul van Gastel.
He is currently head coach at Chinese Super League side Guangzhou City, and has six months left of his contract there.
Nonetheless, this isn’t believed to be an issue for Van Bronckhorst.

Indeed, 90Min – citing “sources close to the club” – claims Rangers are confident of naming Van Bronckhorst as their new boss before the weekend.
Despite talking to other targets, the Dutchman was first choice among a number of the club’s hierarchy, added the report.
During his three-year stint at Ibrox as a player, Van Bronckhorst made 117 appearances in all competitions before joining Arsenal for £8m in 2001.
Up next for Rangers is Sunday’s Scottish League Cup meeting with Hibernian.
