Report: What the mood is like at Hotspur Way after Nuno’s first week of Tottenham training

The mood at Hotspur Way is said to be ‘pretty good’ after Nuno’s first few Tottenham Hotspur training sessions, the Athletic report.

Tottenham spent over two months trying to find a new manager before deciding on Nuno.

His appointment has not been unanimously popular among Spurs supporters, with many stating that they feel it lacks ambition.

However, Tottenham’s players are said to have been cheered after his first few sessions.

The Athletic say that there is a real feeling that the club are making a fresh start under Nuno, with his brought new energy to the training ground.

Some of Tottenham’s players returned to pre-season on Monday, as they looked to impress the new boss.

Jose Mourinho’s relationships with many Tottenham players appeared to have grown strained by the end of his time at the club.

However, Nuno is a far less divisive figure, and it seems that the mood around Spurs is a positive one for now.

Nuno will be under pressure to make a fast start at Tottenham, though.
Considering the doubts over his appointment from some supporters, if Tottenham begin the campaign slowly, patience could quickly run out.

Spurs begin their campaign with a clash with Manchester City, which looks to be an extremely tough test to open their campaign with.
