Report: What Nuno plans to say to Kane when he's back at Spurs after the Euros
Will Nuno Espirito Santo and Harry Kane work together at Spurs next season?
Just a few weeks ago, Tottenham appointed Fabio Paratici as the club’s managing director of football.
Earlier this week, Spurs finally ended their search for a new manager by appointing Nuno.
And hopefully, Tottenham will make it a hat-trick of breakthroughs once Kane returns to N17.
One of Nuno’s first tasks will be to convince the Tottenham talisman that his future remains in north London.
Kane seemingly expressed a desire to leave Spurs in the summer in pursuit of silverware.
Premier League champions and Champions League finalists Manchester City are reportedly eyeing the 27-year-old.
What Nuno plans to tell Kane once he’s back at Spurs
According to ESPN, Nuno is keen to discuss his vision for the team and possible targets with Kane before he goes on holiday after Euro 2020.
City have intimated they are prepared to make a £100 million offer for Kane, added the report.
ESPN also said that, although Spurs are yet to receive a formal bid, they would reject a proposal at that level and are reluctant to see Kane leave in any case.
Kane is currently on England duty ahead of Euro 2020, where he is once again shining for his country.
The 27-year-old won the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup as England finished fourth in the tournament.
And last season, Kane topped the goalscoring and assist charts in the Premier League, despite Tottenham’s disappointing campaign.
