A report from the Echo has revealed what Liverpool star Luis Diaz did while walking through the mixed zone on crutches at the Emirates Stadium.
Jurgen Klopp’s side fell to a disappointing 3-2 defeat against Arsenal yesterday and are without a Premier League win since the end of August.
Liverpool dominated the game for most of the first-half and equalised through Darwin Nunez after Gabriel Martinelli had opened the scoring inside two minutes.
But the Reds put in an underwhelming display during the second period and deservedly lost the game.
Klopp has been hit with several injuries to key players already this season and he will be anxious to find out the extent of Diaz’s injury.
The winger was forced off after a challenge from Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey. And he did not seem happy while hobbling through the mixed zone after the loss.

What Diaz did while walking through mixed zone
The Echo reports that a ‘solemn and dejected’ Diaz made his way through the post-match mix zone after the game. The winger was on crutches and wearing a knee brace as he headed for the Liverpool team bus.
Diaz didn’t stop to speak to any reporters in the zone. But he did offer a grimace and shook his head when one reporter asked about the severity of his injury.
The outlet notes that he is set to be assessed today ahead of Wednesday night’s clash with Rangers at the Ibrox. But it is likely that Diaz will miss out on this game at least.

The Liverpool star was arguably Klopp’s best player on the day against Arsenal. Diaz created the opener for Nunez and was causing the Gunners real problems.
It will be a huge blow for Klopp if Diaz is sidelined for a lengthy period. The German boss would have been thinking that he is now through the worst in terms of injuries.
Key players such as Thiago and Jordan Henderson have already been hit with injuries this season but have now returned.
Klopp will also be sweating over the fitness of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who suffered a heavy blow to the ankle before being substituted at half-time.
