It was a very frustrating evening for Tottenham Hotspur last night, as they failed to secure their place in the Champions League knockout stages.
Rodrigo Bentancur equalised after Marcus Edwards opened the scoring, but the scores were level at full-time.
Kane himself thought he won the match in the dying seconds, poking home Emerson Royal’s knock down.
However, after a lengthy VAR check, the goal was eventually ruled out for offside.
Kane was adjudged to have been ahead of the ball when Royal’s headed it, although there were millimetres in it.

Spurs had a lot of chances to put the game to bed in the second half, and that would have also disappointed Antonio Conte.
Son Heung-min, Matt Doherty and Bentancur all could have scored, but one player seemed to find himself in excellent positions to shoot more than anyone.
That was Eric Dier, who could have had a hat-trick on another occasion, but failed to convert his chances.
His best chances came in the final few minutes, where he managed to glance a header wide from just a few yards out.
Kane’s desperate reaction to Dier miss
It’s the sort of chance that Kane puts away so often, but it fell to the wrong player on his occasion.
On the touchline, Antonio Conte looked on ‘in disbelief’ as the centre-back couldn’t test the keeper.
Dier didn’t have his best game regardless of the chances he missed, and Jermaine Jenas accused him of consistently giving the ball away.

The centre-backs frustrations boiled over at full-time as Kane’s effort was disallowed.
Kane’s reaction to Dier’s miss summed up Tottenham luck in front of goal last night.
They will need to be better when they face Marseille next week, or they could be eliminated from the Champions League.
