Fabio Paratici was spotted complaining to the fourth official in the tunnel at full-time right after Tottenham Hotspur lost to Liverpool, according to Football.London.

The director of football is known to be an animated figure while watching his side and was clearly frustrated after Spurs’ 2-1 defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Tottenham paid the price for another slow start as they went into the break two goals behind after a Mohamed Salah brace.

Antonio Conte’s men did put in an impressive second-half display and got a goal back through Harry Kane.

But the defeat meant it was consecutive losses at home in the Premier League and Paratici aimed his frustrations at the fourth official.

What Paratici was doing in the tunnel

Football.London reports that Conte was furious with Liverpool’s attempts to slow the game down yesterday.

The Italian sprinted over to their technical area and slapped the ball out of Klopp’s assistant Pep Ljinders’ hands, which resulted in a yellow card.

And the Spurs boss wasn’t the only one who was furious at the end of the game.

The outlet claims Paratici was spotted remonstrating with the fourth official as they walked down the tunnel after the game.

The Spurs transfer guru was probably unhappy about the time-wasting at the end of the game and an incident involving Ryan Sessegnon in the first-half.

Sessegnon was seemingly pushed in the back by Trent Alexander-Arnold but referee Andy Madley didn’t feel it was enough to award Spurs a penalty.

Conte will be frustrated after his side got off to yet another poor start to the game yesterday. They produced brilliant comeback wins against Marseille and Bournemouth, but didn’t manage to find a second goal against Liverpool.

Spurs have now conceded the first goal in their last six games in all competitions and will need to address their slow starts.
