Tottenham Hotspur made amends for their shock FA Cup elimination by swatting Everton aside on Monday night.
Antonio Conte’s Spurs ran out 5-0 winners over Frank Lampard’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham dominated throughout and got their first goal after just 14 minutes.

Michael Keane hammered Ryan Sessegnon’s cross into his own net under pressure from Harry Kane.
Three minutes later, Son Heung-min got on the scoresheet as he fired the ball underneath Jordan Pickford’s body.
In the 37th minute, Kane latched onto a sublime Matt Doherty through-ball and fired home from just outside the box.
Sergio Reguilon added a fourth shortly after the restart, sweeping home from Kulusevski’s cross at the far post.
And Kane rounded off the scoring on 55 minutes, expertly volleying Doherty’s cross past Pickford.
“As popular as ever”
Football.london described Monday night’s game as “another strange one” for Son.
Alasdair Gold noted how the 29-year-old still appears to be lacking confidence when running through on goal.
“Son goes through streaks of confidence in front of goal,” wrote Gold.
“During the times when his confidence is low you know that the more time he has to think about his finish, the less likely it is to hit the back of the net.”
However, Gold is confident Son’s confidence will return and he’ll be back on form, with Dejan Kulusevski and Kane both looking to feed the ball into his runs.
Gold also said the South Korea international is “as popular as ever with his Spurs teammates”, noting what Cristian Romero reportedly did during Son’s substitution.
“When he was substituted he went over and high-fived all of the staff and players as normal,” he wrote.
“Cristian Romero had other ideas though, not letting go of Son’s hand and instead pulling him over across his and others’ blanketed laps, banging on his back like a teasing brother before affectionately pulling the laughing South Korean’s hair a few times.”
