West Ham attacker Andriy Yarmolenko is being linked with a move away from the London Stadium.

According to Sky Sports, Chinese club Shandong Luneng are interested in signing the Hammers winger.

It is claimed that the 30-year-old could see his two-year spell in East London come to an end, as West Ham manager David Moyes needs to generate funds from sales in order to sign any news players.

Yarmolenko moved to West Ham for £17.5million (Sky Sports) two years ago and has shown some flashes in brilliance in that tme.

The right-winger has seven goals in 33 games across all competitions during his first two seasons, but he’s had long-term injuries in each campaign so far and that has massively held him back.

TBR’s View:

West Ham fans are understandably going to be angry going into their new season if no new signings are made, but at the same time offloading talented individuals that are already on their books is the smartest idea either.

The sale of Grady Diangana to West Brom has been a popular topic of discussion lately and many are fuming with the decision to offload the academy graduate, which could be the same response if the club get rid of Yarmolenko.

The Ukraine international is someone that does have bad luck with injuries and is a risk in that sense, but certainly is one of the few players in the squad that has an x-factor and he’s a real favourite with supporters.
