West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen.
The Premier League side are said to be one of several teams prepared to move for the 53-cap Wales international, who could be sold by the Potters next month in order to cut costs.

The Daily Mail report the Hammers would be willing to pay around £8 million for the 29-year-old, but some negotiation could be required with Stoke hoping to secure around £15 million.
Other interested parties in Allen include Burnley, who are said to be reluctant to match the figures, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United also mentioned.
Allen has been with Stoke since 2016 after sealing a £13 million transfer from Liverpool (BBC Sport).
TBR’s view – Allen could be useful West Ham signing
Allen could be a decent pickup for West Ham next month, with the club currently short on central midfielders.

With Stoke open to selling, it’s a good opportunity for the Irons to strike a deal, but they shouldn’t be going near that £15 million valuation.
If they can get Stoke to come down to nearer to what they have supposedly offered, then that would be ideal.
Allen has plenty of Premier League experience and can provide some decent squad cover.
