West Ham United are interested in Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng as they look to provide Lukasz Fabianski with greater competition, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (11/4; page 67).
Dieng has been a revelation for the Championship side this season. It has been a remarkable rise given that the Senegal international was playing on loan in the National League South as recently as 2018.

The 26-year-old has made 37 league appearances this term. According to FB Ref, only three goalkeepers have made a greater number of saves than Dieng.
And of those three, only Asmir Begovic has a better save percentage than the QPR man. So it is little surprise that he is reportedly attracting attention.

According to The Sun on Sunday, West Ham are keen on Dieng. It is claimed that they want more competition for Fabianski.
The report notes that QPR’s asking price could be around £6 million.
West Ham have enjoyed real success when signing players from EFL clubs in recent years. And with Fabianski still doing well in the latter stages of his career and Dieng potentially set to cost around £6 million, there is little reason to think that a move could not prove to be inspired.
But they may not be the only side in the running. The Sunday Mirror (3/1; page 73) reported in January that Arsenal and Leeds were admirers of Dieng.
So it will be interesting to see how much competition West Ham may face this summer.
