Spanish newspaper Marca have claimed that Champions League side Sevilla want an enormous £35.5million if they are to sell striker Youssef En-Nesyri – amid reports that West Ham United have had an offer rejected.
En-Nesyri, 23, has been in stunning form for Sevilla this season. The 35-time Morocco international has eight goals in 17 La Liga appearances for Julian Lopetegui’s side – and four in Sevilla’s six Champions League group games.
It is a sensational spell of form that has seen him become the club’s first-choice striker, having initially struggled following his move from Leganes. He scored just six goals in his 26 matches last season.
The Athletic have claimed that West Ham tabled a £27million offer for En-Nesyri this week, worth £22.5million up front and £4.5million in add-ons. But that was rejected and Marca now state they want £35.5million.

TBR’s view – En-Nesyri would be a stunning West Ham signing
But at that price, is he really worth bringing in given he would probably play back-up to Michail Antonio? The former Nottingham Forest man has been sensational this season, and is crucial to West Ham’s new-found identity.
Prolific in the Champions League, En-Nesyri is worth every penny of the £35.5million price tag. But if such a figure is going to be spent, he needs to start and at the London Stadium, it is probable that David Moyes would pick Antonio.
