West Ham United have received a boost in their pursuit of Armando Broja, with the London Evening Standard reporting that the striker would prefer a move to the Hammers over their other Premier League rivals.
The Irons remain on the lookout for a new striker. And it would appear that the Chelsea man is the name at the top of their list.

In fact, talks between the two clubs are set to ramp up in the coming days, according to the Evening Standard. And it seems that Broja is hoping for a positive outcome in those discussions.
The Evening Standard reports that both Newcastle and Everton also want the Albania international. However, his preference is understood to be joining West Ham.

An initial loan deal is possible. Meanwhile, The Telegraph previously shared that Chelsea want £30 million for the youngster.
Broja move could be inspired from West Ham
Broja is still developing. He is only 20. And his form did dip at times during his loan spell with Southampton last season.
However, he was superb for much of his stay on the south coast. It really was a spell which launched Broja’s career to the next level. And he ended the season with nine goals for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men in all competitions.
At times, he seemed to be unplayable. His form was described as ‘sensational‘ at one stage.
There is an opportunity to become a real focal point at the London Stadium. And there is European football on offer. So you can understand why the striker would be keen to join West Ham in this window.
Obviously, there is still interest from other clubs. But it seems that West Ham will have a better idea of whether Broja could be Hammers-bound very soon.
