According to a fresh report from Eurosport, West Ham are to press ahead with their attempts to sign striker, Boulaye Dia, this week.
Dia has emerged as a top target for David Moyes after selling Sebastien Haller to Ajax last week. This latest report claims the Hammers will look to bid around £15m for the striker, who has 12 goals to his name this season for Stade Reims.
Moyes is said to be desperate to land a new striker. The likes of Olivier Giroud and Patson Daka are also mentioned by Eurosport, although deals for those two are expected to prove difficult.
Dia has impressed over in France, especially in the last 12 months. He has 24 goals in 68 games for Reims, per Transfermarkt.
The Hammers need to replace Haller despite the big striker not exactly having the desired impact. The likes of Michail Antonio have struggled with injury, while Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma are both wingers by trade.

This could be a win-win situation for the Hammers. They get rid of Haller, bank some money, and get a replacement who, on paper, appears better anyway.
Dia would add a much needed attacking threat for West Ham in a central area. For all Antonio’s good work, he isn’t a central striker by nature and is best used wide more often than not.
Signing the 24-year-old at just £15m seems a bit of a no-brainer.
