West Ham United remain hopeful of signing Jesse Lingard alongside Nikola Vlasic, the Daily Mail suggest.
Double deal
West Ham have left the bulk of their business to the back end of the transfer window.
And it now seems that David Moyes could sign two attacking midfielders on the same day.
West Ham are nearing a deal to sign Vlasic from CSKA Moscow.
Vlasic initially was thought to be the Hammers’ alternative to Lingard.
However, it now appears that the pair both could arrive.
That is because West Ham are optimistic that a loan deal could be done to bring Lingard back to the London Stadium.
Great option?
That would be ideal for the Hammers, who saw Lingard’s quality last term.

The Manchester United man, who was called ‘amazing by Rio Ferdinand (Five), added a real threat to their attack from January.
It was felt that Lingard’s excellent form at West Ham may put him back in the plans at Old Trafford, but he has continued to struggle for game time since the start of the season.
And the prospect of a move back to West Ham, where he was so popular, must be very tempting for the England international now.
