West Ham United are ready to hand an improved contract to Manuel Lanzini.
Sky Sports understand the club are hoping the Argentine will commit his long-term future to the club, as he has entered into the final 12 months of his current deal.
There is actually an option to give Lanzini two more years, but it is thought West Ham want to tie him down beyond 2022.

The 26-year-old has worked hard to get back to full fitness after injuring his cruciate knee ligament on the eve of the World Cup.
He returned last term, but understandably struggled to hit top form.
TBR’s view
Since the 2018/19 season, £70,000-a-week star Lanzini (Spotrac) has shown signs of getting back to his best.

He had a great pre-season, scoring against Fulham, Hertha Berlin and Athletic Bilbao, and at the weekend he assisted Javier Hernandez’s goal against Brighton.
It will be a big coup for West Ham to tie Lanzini down to a long-term deal.
On his day he is a quality creative player and the team would be worse off without the technician.
