West Ham United could finally get their hands on Roma midfielder, Amadou Diawara, according to reports from the Leicester Mercury.
The Hammers have been linked with Diawara for a few months now, after Forza Roma initially claimed both the Hammers and Leicester were keen on the midfielder.

However, Roma were said to be keen on keeping Diawara and initially played down talks of a sale. But the Leicester Mercury now cites reports from Italy claiming the Italian giants may now be open to a sale.
West Ham could see this is as the ideal chance to make their move, then. Diawara, 23, was a regular for Roma last season with 22 appearances and has continued to be part of proceedings this term.

A full Guinea international, he has 11 caps for his country and is seen as one of the nation’s shining lights. It is believed Roma may be willing to do a deal for around the £15m mark.
More depth for the Hammers, Diawara has quality – TBR View
Diawara is a fine player and would add depth, quality, and competition for places in a West Ham side already doing well.
He’d be a smart signing, too, given Mark Noble’s age and continued rumours surrounding the future of Declan Rice.
Capable of sitting at the base of midfield or getting box to box if needed, the Guinea star would be a smart signing by David Moyes as we head into the second half of the campaign.
