West Ham United risk missing out on Roman Yaremchuk unless they move very quickly, if Gianluca Di Marzio’s latest update is to believed.
West Ham have been heavily linked with the Ukranian striker this summer, with EuroSport suggesting this week that David Moyes’ side were now seriously considering making an offer to Gent for their forward.
However, unless that offer comes quickly, they may now struggle to bring the £21 million man (CalcioMercato) to the London Stadium.
That is because Di Marzio claims that Yaremchuk is on a verge of a move to Benfica.
The Portuguese club are said to be in negotiations with Gent over the forward, who is now ‘ready’ to make the transfer.
If West Ham were to miss out on yet another strike target it would have to be considered a blow.

Moyes’ side are yet to make a signing this summer, despite making it into Europe last term.
Yaremchuk’s performances at Euro 2020, where he has scored twice, have suggested that he is more than capable of making a big splash in the Premier League.
West Ham desperately need a new front man to at least rival Michail Antonio.
But it seems that another option could be taken off the market if they don’t move soon, which increases the pressure on the Hammers to land another one of Moyes’ targets sooner rather than later.
