According to a report from TeamTalk, West Ham, Wolves, and Newcastle are among six teams keen on signing Reading defender, Liam Moore.
The report claims that Moore’s outstanding start to the season at Reading has led to Premier League interest emerging in the defender once again.
A number of clubs are mentioned, including his former side, Leicester City, who are said to be considering a shock move to bring the 27-year-old back to the Midlands.
Moore’s excellent form has seen the Royals sit atop the Championship table following an explosive start to the campaign. However, that form has not gone unnoticed, with West Ham, Newcastle, Wolves, Southampton, and Crystal Palace all mentioned as suitors alongside the Foxes.
The defender may well relish the chance to get back to the top-flight after failing to make an impact with Leicester previously.
A fine player, he’d be ideal for a number of clubs – TBR View
Moore has always been a talent but it’s just this season, in particular, he is starting to show what he is all about.
Of course, Reading will want to keep hold of their star man but with January just a few months away, Premier League teams are already making plans it seems to bring in fresh talent.
He’d be cheaper than a lot of other options too. Leicester wanted James Tarkowski all summer but ultimately, were priced out of a move.
Moore would fit in nicely at all those mentioned clubs, so it looks like a transfer scramble may be on the cards here.
