West Ham United may well go back in for Luka Jovic, EuroSport suggest.
Rekindled interest
West Ham have been linked with Jovic over the last two summer transfer windows, and they seem to still have their eyes on the Serbian.
David Moyes’ side have never been able to get a deal over the line before, but may have more luck this time around.
That is because Carlo Ancelotti has apparently decided that Jovic has not future at the Bernabeu.
A risk worth taking?
Jovic has struggled to make an impact since moving to Spain, and even a loan move back to Frankfurt did not see him rekindle his top form, when he hit 17 goals in a season.
Jovic’s poor displays over the last two years would make him a risky signing for the Hammers.

However, he is a striker who could have plenty of upside if he can discover his top form – which saw him called ‘world-class’ by Frankfurt boss Adi Hutter (Managing Madrid).
Madrid paid £50 million to sign Jovic two years ago, but his value has fallen significantly now – which should put him in West Ham’s price range.
And with Moyes now said to be ‘desperate’ for a new number nine to lead their line next term, Jovic could be a gamble worth taking.
