West Ham are reportedly considering a potential move for Sparta Prague forward Adam Hlozek.

According to football publication 90min, the Hammers are weighing up a swoop for the highly-rated 18-year-old during the current January transfer window.

It is explained that European giants Juventus and Borussia Dortmund have both lodged interest in the teenager, who is valued at £20million by Sparta Prague.

The report adds that the Hammers may have an advantage if they do step up interest in him, as they already have a strong Czech representative at the London Stadium with both Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.

West Ham would be “well placed” to try sign Hlozek and he’s an emerging talent, albeit he’s currently sidelined through injury and is expected back March (Transfermarkt)

The two-time capped Czech Republic international has already made a big impact at Sparta Prague since breaking into the first-team from the academy.

He played seven games this season before his injury, scoring four goals and setting up six assists.

TBR’s View:

With Sebasten Haller’s exit confirmed on Friday morning, West Ham need to try sign another attacker quickly during the January window as manager David Moyes can’t solely rely on Michail Antonio.

Aged 18, Hlozek is still a relatively inexperienced player and the fact he’s currently sidelined through injury does not help the Hammers in the short-term.

There has been some serious success recently with both Soucek and Coufal, who should both be asked their opinions on the upcoming teenager.
