According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (1/12; page 67), West Ham United have invited Dinamo goalkeeper Stefan Brian Fara for talks ahead of a potential January move.
The goalkeeper situation looks set to be near the top of Manuel Pellegrini’s priority list heading into the winter window. Roberto was dropped on Saturday after a torrid time between the sticks.

West Ham fans will be hoping that Lukasz Fabianski will be back by the turn of the year. But Pellegrini is still seemingly setting his sights on bringing in a new signing.
The Sun on Sunday (1/12; page 67) reports that the 18-year-old stopper has been invited for talks. Fara is yet to make his senior debut for the Romanian side. But that has not stopped the Hammers taking an interest.

It is also suggested by The Sun on Sunday that Fara qualifies for the Republic of Ireland. He was born in Dublin before being raised in Romania.

With Fara yet to play for Dinamo’s first-team, it looks to be a move that West Ham hope to make with one eye on the future.
But while it may be some time before Hammers fans get to see him feature for the senior side, he will probably become a popular member of the squad amongst the supporters almost immediately if his arrival at the London Stadium paves the way for Roberto to leave.
