West Ham United have been linked with a move for Weston McKennie at Juventus, according to TuttoSport.
West Ham keen
They claim that David Moyes’ side are keen on the defensive midfielder, as are Everton and Aston Villa.
McKennie looks set to move on from Turin this summer, with West Ham now one of a number of Premier League sides chasing him.
It has previously been claimed in CalcioMercato that he is valued at £30 million.
If West Ham were to spend that on McKennie it would be a statement of intent.
He is also a high quality player, who was once called unbelievable by USA coach Gregg Berhalter (Guardian).
Unlikely signing?
However, there would have to be question marks raised over West Ham spending such a sizeable chunk of their budget on another defensive midfielder.

West Ham already have Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice who can play in that area, while Mark Noble can offer cover.
While there is no doubting that West Ham do need to add depth to their squad, a signing of a striker will surely be prioritised, given the club’s lack of options beyond Michail Antonio.
At the moment this transfer, therefore, does look rather unlikely – especially at McKennie’s current price – but West Ham may just have a few moves left to make before the transfer window closes.
