West Ham are reportedly in a four-way battle for attacker Everton Soares from Brazilian top-flight club Gremio.

According to CalcioMercato, the Hammers are joined by Manchester United, AC Milan and Roma in showing interest in the 23-year-old.

The report details that one of the European teams could sign him for somewhere between £17.1million and £25.7million.

Everton is a highly-rated winger renowned from his blistering pace and he also scored 16 goals in 40 games across all competitions last season.

He has three senior caps for Brazil too and did feature in the most recent international break, where he came off the bench against Panama.

TBR’s View:

There have been numerous Brazilians come over to the Premier League in recent years and succeed, with a number currently lighting up English football right now.

Everton is a left-winger that has made a name for himself in his homeland and impressed enough to earn an international call-up, which is why it would be intriguing for him to test himself in European football.

The South American speed machine is technically capable and has an eye for goal, which is why he could be worth an investment around the £20million mark.

West Ham’s Felipe Anderson could be the perfect mentor too if they sign Everton, as the pair have linked up on international duty before.
