West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian looks set to leave the club this summer, with Real Betis eyeing a move for their former player.

Mundo Deportivo claim the Spaniard is ready to end his experience in London and move back to his homeland.

The 32-year-old joined the Hammers back in 2013 from Betis on Sam Allardyce’s watch, and the stopper has become a popular figure during his time at the club.

He has served the club well, making 150 appearances in total.

In 2018/19 he has played second fiddle to Lukasz Fabianski, and speculation has been rife that he could move on this summer.

Adrian’s contract is up in July and Betis seem keen to bring their ex-stopper home.

TBR’s view

Adrian has given a good chunk of his playing career to West Ham and the time is probably right for him to move on.

Fabianski has just won Hammer of the Year in his first season with the club and is firmly established as the number one.

Even last term, Adrian was battling it out with Joe Hart at the London Stadium.

He’s been a great servant to the club, but surely there is no chance of a new deal at this point.
