West Ham have reportedly joined the pursuit for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Hammers have entered the race for the 30-year-old at the Italian club.
It is understood that they face competition from Premier League duo Tottenham and Arsenal for his potential signature in the summer.
Perisic is a dazzling wide man that has never played in England before, but been successful in Italy and Germany during his career.
He helped Croatia finish as runners-up in the World Cup last summer and is renowned for his pace and trickery.
Perisic would be a high-profile addition for West Ham and he’s shown over the years he can perform on the biggest stage.
He’s scored six goals and supplied eight assists so far this season for Inter, which has seen him be a consistent member of the starting XI.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side would be taking a slight risk given that he is now aged 30 and may just be coming out of his peak years, but he’s still capable of some quality moments and is attracting interest from two of the top six clubs in England.
West Ham still need some marquee additions if they want to break into the European spots next year and another goal threat out wide should help.
