TBR’s View:

Watkins looks an ideal West Ham target on paper and is potentially someone that could link up well with the club’s current forward Sebastien Haller.

The Hammers need to ensure they avoid relegation first this season and then they can turn attention towards trying to climb up the table, which is something they have to achieve at the London Stadium.

There are certainly so many individuals capable from the Championship of performing in the Premier League, with Sheffield United a shining example this season of a team making an instant impact after promotion and they have stuck with the same core of players from last year.
