West Ham United are reportedly eyeing a move for highly rated AS Monaco youngster Chrislain Matsima.
According to the Daily Mail, the London club are ready to battle the likes of Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus and Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid for the French youth international.
The 18-year-old has a contract with Monaco until 2022, but may seek pastures new in the next transfer window.

Matsima is yet to make a competitive appearance for the first-team, but he did recently feature in a friendly match against Standard Liege.
He has previously represented France at U16 and 17 level, suggesting the youngster has exciting potential.
West Ham have previously raided the French market for a defender having bought Issa Diop from Toulouse in 2018 for £22 million.
TBR’s View – Diop West Ham’s trump card?
West Ham securing their Premier League status for next season is bound to help with the attracting of players to the club, but in the case of Matsima there is perhaps a more effective lure.

Diop has done a decent job for the Hammers following his move and is probably a sign of encouragement for young Matsima.
Not only that but perhaps the teenager will look at Diop and see a fellow countryman who could help him settle in at the London Stadium if he did wish to move there.
