West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion are amongst the group of clubs chasing Bordeaux right-back Enock Kwateng ahead of the January transfer window, according to a report from The Telegraph.
Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has Pablo Zabaleta and Ryan Fredericks at his disposal at right-back. Meanwhile, Nathan Ferguson has enjoyed a fantastic first campaign in the Baggies first-team.

The Telegraph reports however, that Ferguson is attracting plenty of attention. And of course, Zabaleta seems to be well into the twilight of his career at the London Stadium.
The Telegraph suggests that Kwateng could be sold in January having arrived in the summer on a free transfer. It is suggested that the 22-year-old – who is also wanted by Brighton – could cost just £4 million.

The Frenchman has made eight Ligue 1 appearances this term. And he appears to have been an inspired signing for Paulo Sousa’s men.
It could certainly be deemed a bargain if he is available for just £4 million.
He may be a player that initially frustrates supporters. It may be fair to argue that his passing, crossing and positioning needs to improve.
But there is definitely a bright prospect there who is showing real promise at a high level. So it would perhaps be no surprise if a Premier League or Championship side looked to take a gamble given his £4 million asking price.
