West Ham are reportedly keen on Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen this summer.
According to Sport, the Hammers have joined the race for the 30-year-old and could battle Premier League rivals Everton for him.
It is understood that the Holland international wants to exit Barcelona in the summer and he will cost at least £17.8million.
The La Liga shot-stopper wants to leave the Camp Nou this summer and there is English interest in him.
Cillessen was in goal when Holland won the Nations League final this summer and he’s also got 14 clean sheets in 32 appearances.
West Ham’s interest in Cillessen is bizarre, as they certainly don’t need a new goalkeeper for next season.
Cillessen is a quality goalkeeper that would be a strong addition to the Premier League, but it would be strange for Manuel Pellegrini to bring him to the London Stadium.
The Hammers have already signed two goalkeepers this summer with Roberto and David Martin arriving.
They will be competing to become the back-up option to Lukasz Fabianski, who was the outstanding individual at the club last season.
West Ham completed the signing of midfielder Pablo Fornals on Friday and they are beginning to assemble a squad that is capable of competing for the European spots.
