West Bromwich Albion are keen to take Callum Robinson on a permanent deal, but The Sun on Sunday (23/8; page 61) reporting that the Baggies plan to offer £4 million for the Sheffield United forward.
Robinson spent the latter half of last season on loan at the Hawthorns. He had scored one goal and provided one assist for the Blades in the Premier League following his switch last summer.

He scored three and set up two for Slaven Bilic’s side. And while he did not always catch the eye, he unquestionably played a vital role in their season.
He provided an assist and scored a goal on the final day of the campaign as West Brom secured the result that they needed to gain promotion.

The Sun on Sunday (23/8; page 61) reports that Bilic is keen to keep Robinson heading into next term. However, it appears that the two clubs are some way apart in their valuations.
According to the report, West Brom are prepared to offer £4 million for the Republic of Ireland international. But Chris Wilder’s men value the former Preston North End man at £8 million.
TBR View: West Brom need attacking options, so Robinson move could make sense
West Brom can arguably not afford to not strengthen their attacking options this summer. Like Robinson, Grady Diangana was only on loan at the club last term.
Robinson’s form may have been mixed. But perhaps the Baggies would be wise to try and reach a compromise.
It could potentially prove to be a decent piece of business ahead of their top flight return.
