West Bromwich Albion have had a bid accepted by Queens Park Rangers for Eberechi Eze, but the Express and Star has suggested that the forward is still keen to join Crystal Palace.
A resolution concerning Eze’s future appears to be imminent. The Telegraph reported on Tuesday that Palace had had a £19.5 million bid accepted. The report suggested that the Eagles were set to pay an initial £15 million for the 22-year-old.

The Express and Star has claimed that the Baggies are not prepared to match Palace’s bid. But they have offered a package that would see the Championship side receive a fee every year for the next four.
And the Express and Star has suggested that their bid has also been accepted. However, it is suggested that Eze has still got his sights set on moving to Selhurst Park.

TBR View: Move looks unlikely, but Baggies should not give up until deal is done
Eze is a special player. He scored 14 goals and contributed eight assists in the league last season.
So, while a move looks unlikely, West Brom are absolutely right to keep themselves in the mix.
Moves seemingly much further down the line have fallen through in the past. And should Eze’s switch to Palace not get across the line, Slaven Bilic’s side will be in a fantastic position to step in and snap him up.
