West Brom could reportedly sign Watford striker, Troy Deeney, this summer, with the Daily Mail claiming the 32-year-old has been ‘put forward’ as a potential signing.
Deeney scored ten times for Watford last season but couldn’t prevent the Hornets from dropping back into the Championship.

It is expected that the club will lose a number of top players in the coming weeks, with Deeney, Doucoure, and Will Hughes all players who are likely to come under the microscope.
The Baggies are on the lookout for new faces following their promotion back to the PL. And while Deeney – who has 47 top-flight goals – could be an option, it is believed Slaven Bilic is targeting younger players.

Deeney, then, could well remain at Vicarage Road and try to lead his team back up next season.
A firm fan favourite, Deeney has drawn praise from past managers, too. Indeed, Nigel Pearson spoke of just how important Deeney was for the club, citing his ‘love of the pressure’ and ‘always being a handful to play against’ as qualities in his game. (Watford Observer)
Bilic might want younger but Deeney could be ideal – TBR View
Sometimes you just need players in the squad who know the league and know where the back of the net is, and Deeney is certainly in that mould of a player.
He was unlucky to find himself a Championship player again. In fact, had he been fit for all of the season, Watford might well have put up enough points to ensure safety.
However, he is where he is and will no doubt attract plenty of attention this summer. A number of clubs will want Deeney so if Slaven Bilic does distance himself, then others will come knocking.
