According to a report from Sky Sports, West Brom are looking to sign Galatasaray goal-getter, Mbaye Diagne, during the January window.
New manager, Sam Allardyce, is said to be desperate for new signings this month and openly admitted he needs new faces in during the window if he’s to help the Baggies survive the drop.

Diagne has emerged as a target, with Albion keen to add goals to their squad to help their cause. The Senegal ace has all the hallmarks of being able to do just that, having scored 51 times in the Turkish top flight in just 63 games.
Sky Sports claim the Baggies are looking to do a loan deal for Diagne, although Galatasaray are thought to be keen on keeping hold of their talisman.
Per the same report, Diagne was apparently identified by former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte while he was at Juventus. However, he didn’t quite settle with Juve and moved to China, before coming back to Europe in Turkey and hitting the goal trail.
TBR View: On paper, Diagne seems perfect
Goals, goals, and more goals by the looks of it with Diagne. And that’s exactly what Albion need to bring to the fold if they’re to stay up.
The striker looks every bit the part and if they can pull this off, it would appear to be quite the coup. However, he is one of a number of targets and Galatasaray are a huge club, so he may well fancy staying put.
