West Bromwich Albion are interested in taking Dilan Markanday on loan from Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window, according to a report from the Daily Mirror (1/12; page 52).
Markanday has been absolutely outstanding for Spurs’ under-23s this season. He has scored 11 goals in 12 Premier League 2 games.

The 20-year-old also received the chance to make his debut for the first-team this term. However, it would appear that a January move could be on the cards.
According to the Daily Mirror (1/12; page 52), Markanday is wanted by the Baggies.
Valerien Ismael’s men are in contention to make an immediate return to the Premier League. However, they are currently going through a difficult period.

The Baggies have not won in their last four and now find themselves just three points above the chasing pack outside the top six.
Markanday loan move to West Brom could be ideal for Tottenham starlet
Goals have been a major problem for West Brom. None of the top six have scored fewer times. In fact, league leaders Fulham have scored 22 more goals already.
Of course, it would be asking a lot to expect Markanday to address all of those issues should he move to the Hawthorns.
But he would relish the chance to prove himself at a very good level. And with West Brom, he should certainly get opportunities.
Only Fulham average more shots per game than Ismael’s side, according to Whoscored.
And if Antonio Conte has no intention of using him more often in the second-half of the campaign, a loan move next month could be perfect for all parties.
