Liverpool have been offered encouragement should they wish to move for Ismaila Sarr again, with The Athletic reporting Watford could sell if a bid comes in.
The Athletic claim that while Watford want to keep Sarr following promotion, they could rethink that stance should Liverpool or Manchester United make their move.

Sarr was a target for Liverpool during the last summer window. He again cropped up in January, with varying reports stating Watford would demand around £40m if they were to sell.
However, Sarr has remained at Vicarage Road and has helped the Hornets to promotion back to the Premier League. But his form has been excellent, meaning rumours were always bound to surface once more this summer.
At 23, Sarr could well go on to play for one of the ‘big six’. Indeed, Gary Neville has previously labelled Sarr a ‘big, big talent’.
TBR View: Sarr could be perfect should Liverpool lose Salah
For numerous reasons, the rumours around Mo Salah and his Liverpool future won’t go away. It goes without saying, then, that the Reds might need to add a wide forward in the next few windows.
Sarr could be perfect. He can play both wings and his pace and power when he’s in full flow is frightening for defenders.
Watford will hope their promotion has done enough for Sarr to stay. But everyone has their price, and should FSG stump up the cash here for Sarr, then he’ll find Klopp and the Anfield lure hard to resist.
