Aston Villa are considering making a late move for RB Leipzig forward Jean-Kevin Augustin.
Sky Sports claim the Midlands club are thinking about making a last-minute addition, with the transfer window closing on Thursday.
The reports also names Crystal Palace as an interested party, as well as French sides Nice and AS Monaco.

Leipzig would apparently want to recoup the £15 million they paid Paris Saint-Germain for him in 2017 in order to sell.
Augustin made just 17 Bundesliga appearances last season as he faced strong competition from the likes of Timo Werner, Yussuf Poulsen and Marcel Sabitzer.
With three years remaining on his contract, the German outfit are in a strong position for any negotiations.
TBR’s view
Having already signed Jota, Wesley Moraes and Trezeguet this summer, it’s hard to see where Augustin would fit at Villa Park.

Despite his struggles last term, the versatile forward has a respectable tally of 20 goals and eight assists in 67 appearances for Leipzig, so perhaps he could be of use to Villa for the right price.
With center-forward being Augustin’s main position, he’d have to work hard to get in the side ahead of new signing Moraes. There is also competition from the likes of Jonathan Kodjia and Scott Hogan.
