Arsenal could face competition to land Dani Ceballos this summer, with Marca claiming that Valencia are keeping tabs on the Real Madrid midfielder ahead of a potential transfer.
The 23-year-old has had an indifferent spell with the Gunners this season after joining on loan from Los Blancos.

An injury ensured he missed a chunk of the campaign in November and December, but he has since returned, starting the game at Man City last night.
It was initially expected that the Gunners would send Ceballos back to Madrid this summer. However, reports emerged yesterday to suggest that Mikel Arteta may have performed a U-turn. A report from AS claims Ceballos may still be a wanted man at the Emirates, fuelling talk of a second loan spell.

Valencia, though, are in the hunt for new players themselves. With Ferran Torres widely expected to attract attention this summer, a player in the mould of Ceballos makes sense for the Mestalla based outfit.
It looks, then, like Arsenal won’t be having it all their own way in terms of simply re-doing a loan deal for the Spaniard.

The market is going to be a tricky one this summer and Arsenal can’t afford to mess about. If they want to keep Ceballos, they need to be acting now and securing him for next year. It’s as simple as that.
Valencia could well swoop in and take him away from them if they dither about. A chance to stay in Spain, with a big club, is not something Ceballos would ignore you’d assume.
Furthermore, on his day, he’s a quality player. If he can stay fit and Arsenal can add a few more to the squad over the summer, then Ceballos could play a key role for the Gunners going into 2021.
