Liverpool have recently been linked with a move for talented Brazilian youngster Talles Magno.

As reported by The Mirror, Liverpool have been keeping tabs on the Vasco da Gama striker who has been likened to Brazilian superstar Neymar in recent times, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The talented 17-year-old is considered one of Brazil’s best young players and with the Brazilian side reportedly struggling financially, Liverpool could be ready to test the waters and snap up the wonderkid.

But he will not be coming cheap. Reports this week have detailed two bids that have been rejected for the player.

Lille made an offer of €10 million (£9m) which was rejected, according to Gazeta Esportiva. Russian side Krasnodar also made an offer in the same region which was also rejected, as reported by Globo Esporte.

So Liverpool would seemingly need to go beyond that price-tag to have any chance of securing a deal for the Brazilian wonderkid this summer.

A recent report from Metropoles claimed that the Brazilian talents new contract, signed in November, contains a £28 million release clause.

Given Liverpool’s reluctance to meet the asking price for a more proven striker in Timo Werner this summer, spending that much on the teenager seems an unlikely proposition for the time being.
