Liverpool defender Tony Gallacher was reportedly set to leave Anfield in the coming days.
However, the Daily Mail have reported that Sunderland have pulled out of the deal.
The outlet claims Liverpool were prepared to cut Gallacher’s contract short.

This would’ve enabled the Anfield full-back to join the Black Cats on a free transfer.
The Reds were apparently looking to insert a sell-on clause in the agreement.
Lee Johnson confirmed that Gallacher was “a player on a list of ten or twelve options” his club was looking at.
However, Sunderland have reportedly changed their minds and the deal for Gallacher is now off.
Liverpool player, once on Barcelona’s radar
Gallagher progressed through Falkirk’s academy, and made his senior debut in the Scottish Championship.
As a teenager, Barcelona were seemingly keeping tabs on the Glaswegian.

“I did not believe it at first,” Gallacher told Sky Sports last November. “I thought someone had made it up.”
In January 2018, the Anfield outfit signed Gallacher for a reported fee of £200,000.
He has made one senior appearance under Jurgen Klopp, in the 2019 League Cup meeting with Aston Villa.
Gallacher has also spent three months on loan at MLS side Toronto FC.
