Trabzonspor are reportedly set to hold talks with Arsenal regarding a loan move for Mohamed Elneny.
Turkish-Football claim the Super Lig side have now joined the hunt for the Egypt international, who spent the 2019/20 season on loan with Besiktas.
Supposedly, the club are ‘confident’ of snapping up the former Basel star, with preliminary talks having already been held.

Elneny joined Arsenal in 2016 for a reported fee of £7.4 million (Express), and has made 89 appearances for the Gunners.
He impressed initially under Arsene Wenger, but quickly got used to sitting on the bench at the Emirates Stadium.
Unable to break into the starting XI, Elneny headed to Turkey to play for Besiktas, where he made 35 appearances in all competitions.
He is currently at the centre of a pay dispute, which could put a stopper on him rejoining the club for a second term and instead push him towards Trabzonspor.
TBR’s View – It’s time to sell
With Arsenal having secured European football by winning the FA Cup, the club is now in a stronger position to attract better players than had they lost.

The Gunners need better quality options going forwards if they are to compete for more trophies.
Elneny – who is said to earn £50,000-a-week at the Emirates (Spotrac) – had ample opportunities to prove himself before his loan spell and just didn’t really seem to cut the mustard.
Mikel Arteta may want to take a look at him, but from what he has shown over the past few years, it would be no surprise to see Arsenal offloading the 28-year-old to one of Trabzonspor or Besiktas.
