Report: Tottenham World Cup star has now told his teammates he will be ready to play on Boxing Day
The Daily Mail report that Kane went into the dressing room at half-time during the 1-1 friendly draw with Nice in midweek.
He told teammates that he will be ready to face Brentford when the Premier League gets underway after Christmas.
Kane has had ten days off after his penalty heartache with England but will not miss any top flight football from the looks of it.
Kane ready to play on Boxing Day
He was back in training yesterday and should not be lacking match sharpness after starting every England game during the World Cup.
Spurs have injuries in attacking areas and that gives them little room to manoeuvre when trying to give Kane a rest over Christmas.
But he is determined to come back to action as soon as he can and get over the penalty miss in the best possible way – by scoring goals.
Kane’s mentality is among the best in the game and the reason where he is right now is so much hard work and honing his technique.
He is laser focused in his pursuit of goals and it would be no surprise to see him find the back of the net against Brentford.
He will need the support of his teammates around him but he is a leader too, and someone Antonio Conte will be looking at to provide the goods straight after the break.
