Tottenham, West Ham and Steven Gerrard’s Rangers are among those being linked with attacker Aaron Boupendza at Turkish club Hatayspor.

According to 90min, Premier League duo Spurs and West Ham, as well as newly-crowned Scottish champions Rangers are all monitoring the 24-year-old.

It is explained that he’s also being eyed by Southampton, Leicester City, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Celtic.

Additionally, Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has spoken to his club about his fellow countryman.

The report claims that the player is interested in a move to the Premier League, but Hatayspor want around £8.5million from his sale.

Boupendza, who has 15 international caps for Gabon, is a forward that has been ripping up the Turkish top flight.

The versatile attacker has played as a left-winger, right-winger and striker at different stages of this campaign.

His current record is 18 goals in 26 league games this season.

TBR’s View:

If you sign a player from the Turkish division, history shows it doesn’t guarantee they’re going to be able to cut it in England.

Meanwhile, Rangers are a team on the up that are in the knockout rounds of the Europa League, and it will take a quality player to make a difference in their talented squad at Ibrox.

It’s the player’s breakout year in his career where he’s now starting to perform at a higher level, as previously he was in the French second division.

His £8.5million valuation could be tempting for a club to take a gamble on.
