Tottenham are plotting a number of big transfer moves in the coming weeks and they could have to break the bank to do so.
Spurs have already paid out around £40m to sign Archie Gray from Leeds and have also agreed to pay Timo Werner’s wages for another season.
However, more new faces are wanted and needed at Tottenham.
Ange Postecoglou has said he wants a new forward signed and with speculation rife about the future of Richarlison, a number of names are being linked.
Of course, one of the more recent rumours has seen Spurs linked with a move for Bournemouth striker, Dominic Solanke.
Solanke is admired by Tottenham and they feel he fits the profile of the ideal number nine Postecoglou wants.
However, if Tottenham do indeed want Solanke, then it’s going to cost them.

Tottenham need club-record fee to sign Dominic Solanke
According to a report from The Times, Tottenham are indeed looking at Solanke to solve their issues in attack.
However, it’s reported how Bournemouth will demand the full £65m release-clause to sell Solanke and they won’t accept anything less.
That, of course, means Tottenham would need to dig very deep and Daniel Levy would be signing off on a club-record deal.
The £65m for Solanke would surpass the £55m they paid for Tanguy Ndombele and the £50m they paid to sign Richarlison from Everton.
Tottenham need to prove they’re serious
We seem to be in the same situation nearly every window with Tottenham.
The have a bit of positivity around the club, the fans push for big signings, before they eventually fall short on a few deals and have a near identical season again.
Surely though, under Postecoglou, Tottenham now push the boat out and make a move to sign a number of big players.
If that means signing for Solanke for more than £60m, then that might have to be the case.
Spurs fans want progress on last season and so does Big Ange.
Levy, then, has some big questions to answer in the coming weeks.
