Tottenham boss wants to land Lorenzo Insigne during the January transfer window, with Antonio Conte a big fan of the player.
According to Calciomercato, the Napoli man is on the radar of the North London-based club ahead of the transfer window.
Insigne will be out of contract in the summer and that could put the Serie A side under pressure to sell.
The Italian star earns around £90,000-a-week and he’s stalling over a new deal with the Naples-based outfit.

Landing him won’t be easy. Tottenham will face competition from Inter who are long-term admirers of Insigne.
It will be a sad day when the 30-year-old calls time on his stay at Napoli. He has been at the club since 2007 and is a product of the youth academy.
He has spent time on loan with Foggia, Cavese and Pescara, but he’s made 413 appearances for Napoli and is deemed a stalwart at the Italian club.
The man with 53 caps for his country isn’t particularly impressed with the new contract proposal he’s been offered.
They want him to accept a wage decrease, with the rest of his salary made up in bonuses.
That has opened the door for Tottenham to sneak in and both Conte and Fabio Paratici are said to be big fans of Insigne.
Insigne would be a quality addition for Tottenham
Conte has spoken about length about the need for his players to work hard if they want to win places in his team.
There are few players in the game who work as tirelessly as Insigne when it comes to giving their all on a football pitch.

As a result, it’s perhaps no surprise that the Tottenham boss is keen to get Insigne to North London.
He has scored 114 goals and claimed 91 assists during his time at Napoli. With that in mind, his quality in the final third would make him an ideal recruit for Tottenham.
