Tottenham defender Danny Rose is reportedly wanted by French club Paris Saint-Germain and German outfit Schalke this summer.
The 29-year-old has been excluded from a pre-season tour to explore a potential exit from Spurs.
According to Sky Sports, the left-back doesn’t feature in the plans of manager Mauricio Pochettino and he would cost around £20million for another club to sign.
The report explains that PSG lead the race for the England international and Schalke are also potential suitors.
It is understood that Rose wants to fight for his future at Spurs, but will consider leaving if the right offer comes in.
Kieran Trippier has already completed a move to Atletico Madrid this summer and it looks like another full-back in the shape of Rose could be following out the exit doors.
Sky Sports’ report explains that Ryan Sessegnon is lined up as a replacement for Rose if he does leave this summer.
Rose is still in the peak year of his career and it seems odd for him to be shipped out this summer.
He still has two years remaining on his contract and is the best left-back at the club, so leaving the position free for Ben Davies would be a backwards step despite his consistency.
Sessegnon, 19, is still a rising that isn’t ready to become a first-choice left-back for a top-six club in the Premier League and he’s often looked better as a winger.
£20million for Rose seems fairly cheap in the current market and Spurs should ramp up the price for, as it seems Pochettino is happy if he departs.
